i doin a project on clearance on forming, blanking, punching, piercing on stamping process. I a outsider on engineering manufacturing...so i gotta do research abt it and is so confusing and hard to find the forumla for clearance. any kind soul can tell mi the clearance formula for these process? |

Clearance between mating parts (if this is what you are reffering to) is typically determined by limits and fit standards. There may be a formula however, I am not aware of any. Check out the following link /tolerance_chart.htm . |

ermm...i mean the clearance...for stamping u nid to hav some space between the hole and the tool rite...if i not wrong |
