Can someone please tell me if, while finding the "z" sect. mod. for wall supports to hold fluids in a rect. storage tank, if I must compute a combination of liquid weight as well as pressure.
The wall height is approx. 8'6", width is 8'6", and length is approx. 42'. Liquid is 16#/gal. Thank You. |

Tank pressure does not enter the equation, only external forces do, namely gravity ( or weight if you will). |
