I am a part time student and have been asked to design a pipe coiler for plastic pipes. The design is a simple drum which will be required to rotate and pipe fed to the drum. The problem i have is where to begin with driving the drum. i am assuming the motor would have to be geared down as the drum would have to rotate slowly. Any info or help would be most appreciated
