WE have guascors gas fired engines at our facility there are two of them i have started observing water coming out from the breather I didnot observe that on the other guascor I sent the oil sample to SHELL they said that oil is crackle free means no water I inspected the crankase and main bearing everything seems and looks ok also there is no rise oil level during engine operation and nothing unusual why is the water coming from the breather ???????????

When a engines crankshaft is not ventilated properly condensation can build up at the breather. Also vacuum leaks can cause such moisture. Check the crank vent system for clogs or N/G pvc if in place. Just my .02 Another thing to look at is how often the engine is being ran. If you just start up on occation it may not be reaching operating temps long enough. These are gen engines and are designed to run long cycles. You may want to consult the mfgrs. for advise.
