WHICH CAD SOFTWARE SHOULD BE LEARNT TO INCREASE CHANCES OF PLACEMENT IN AUTOMOBILE DESIGN INDUSTRY. PRO/E CATIA SOLID EDGE UNIGRAPHICS OR ANY OTHER SOFTWARE I AM 3RD YEAR MECHANICAL ENG. STUDENT |

hi CATIA v5 and Unigraphics are the best choices.if u join for UG u must have the manufacture module in the course.ok bye ramakrishna

Technically none, CAD software can be taught pretty quickly, not engineering skills.
I have seen all of the following used within the USA automotive industry - Proe, Unigraphics, SDRC Ideas, Solid Works, Solid Edge, Catia, and Autodesk. FOr analysis I have seen NASTRAN, COSMOS, and ANVIL. |
