I work with Autocad and was wondering if there was a technology out there where I can scan old blueprints onto the computer and then be able to edit them within the autocad program like it was originated there. It would be very helpful and save a sizable amount of money in the long run. Thanks folks. |

Yes they are a lot of vectorizing rasterimage, but as you can read on your old blueprint ther is a legend on it that state. DO NOT SIZE OR MESSURE FROM THE DRAWING. Adesk have a OVERLAY , and others vendor too. When I have to do this I scan the bleuprint and reading the dims i rebuild them .
