Dear all,
I want clear concept for 2nd & 3rd angle.I got little bit idea ine view we can,t see.why we can,t see?.please give clear idea for this .i need immediately.Still , i am trying my end. Hpoefully, i can it clarification which i mentioned above my question.please help who knows about clear idea for this . if the person who knows this.i would be appreciated him greatly. if any one helps me.it is great for me. Thanks

I think you are asking about the different projections for orthographic drawings -- the two methods used are 1st angle and 3rd angle.
These come from the idea that space can be divided into 4 quandrants. In North America, third-angle projection is used; it projects the view from Quadrant 3. Elsewhere in the world the object is projected from Quadrant 1 (first-angle projection). This results in the flat 2-dimensional views being arranged differently on the drawing. I have never heard of someone using 2nd or 4th angle projection -- I think it would be confusing because some of the views would be projected through the part and some would be projected away from the part (I have to think about this some more). Information about the quadrants can be found in a Geometry textbook. Information about the projection angles can be found in a drafting or basic CAD textbook. |
