I would like to know what 1/2" NPT drill connection means?
Since i am working for a mechanical seal manufacturer, i used to specify 1/2" NPT flush connection for flushing the seals.Exactly i would like to know what 1/2" stands for? is it the dia. of the tapered drill or the depth.Please can any one guide me. |

1/2" NPT drill connection probably means to drill and tap for a standard 1/2 pipe thread. See the following page: /pipe_internal_thrd.htm . I would contact whom ever specified this and ask for clarity. |
