Hi. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated on the following:
1) Would placing machined Ti-6Al-4V in a bath of HBF(4)/HCl and then aqueous ultrasonic cleaning present risk for subsequent hydrogen embrittlement or other problems?


2) Any thoughts on cleaning a machined Ti-6Al-4V surface to prepare for nickel plating?
