I am a biomedical engineering student. I am facing a problem in my project (biotehcnology) where i need a mechanical system to wind the thread ( fiber) produced in to a tube ( shaft) in a pattern like ...first from left to right, then right to left continiously twisting on the tube, so that finally i get a tube winded with the fiber.
In other words, a thread is coming from one point, in the vertical axis and i need to wind it on a small tube ( very small diameter and 5-8 cm long) continously from left to right and right to left several times, like in a bobin. Please help me to design a mechanical system which i can connect to a stepper motor which i have a speed controller already. Also electronics part is not difficult for me. Mechanical part, please help. What are the other data required to help me? thanks in advance |
