Hi all. I d like to idealise a snap-fit for subsequent modal analysis. What is the best method, either use superelements or define stiffness (using a contact FE code) and then model the snap-fit as a set of translational and rotational springs? What are the advantages & limitations of each approach for this special task? thanks for your answers. guiguit |
