This is a resubmit to my question since it seems to have been lost. How should the true position of the small hole in the side view be measured? Since the edges are Zero should they be used to set up the reference planes and the position of the hole, or should the bore and bottom face, A and B, be used once there locations from the edges are verified. Since the small hole and bore are 1.800 from the edge, but the bore is A datum does this mean the position of the bore to the small hole is a basic value of zero?
