The accuracy of your ball screw is provided with the ball screw or in the catalog it is purchased from. The method to set back lash depends entirely on the engineering method used to mount and apply the forces and the type of nut running on the lead. Therefore adjustments are made according to the owners manual provided with the machine tool. -randy-
