yes, there are many ways to export lineart from autocad but first I need to know the version and how the assembly was created (if it is was created in autocad or imported from other software to autocad). Any way; you can export drawings to Adobe Illustraotr or CorelDraw as line art and then control linewieght and fill color. easiest way to do it is : File Menu==>Exort==> and choose *.eps or *.ps

I've used a product called Squiggle which will not only convert DWG to art, but will make your CAD drawings look like they're hand drawn. Cool!
