I am new to this group and I am not an engineer so please forgive this if it sounds elementary. A friend of mine wants to convert a 6 foot mower to run off hydraulics rather than pto shaft. (the mower requires a front pto shaft and the machine he wants to use does not have one.) What would be the required pump volume and motor size and how do we calculate these? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
