Edit

A beam is central clamped on a vibrating shaker. Is it correct to use the formula for the natural frequency of a clamped-free beam to found out the fundamental frequency of the beam(i.e. w=(d^2/L^2)*sqrt(EI/m))? However, the clamped end is on the shaker and has a displacement reference to the ground. Do I need to consider the mass and stiffness of the shaker?

Thanks in advance.
