Will loctite prevent self tapping screws from vibrating loose. |

Assuming the self tapping screws are in sheet metal, I doubt it. There just is not enough screw contact area for the threads or loctite to work. What is the installation material and thread depth. |

I don't think so. Whats happening is when the metal flexes the holes enlarge. Same with riveted parts but with self taping screws, there is no backing. You really need rivets as a bare minimum for anything that matters. Welding or brazing is better. |
