Does anyone know of some kind of smart valve that will somehow actuated on its own when submersed in water but not in oil. The problem is I have water getting into to an oil source and I want to put some kind of valve in that will autimatically open when water settles to the bottom but not let any oil out!!!!!!! |

Yes, but I don't know what it is called. I have one on my diesel motor coach. When there is any water in the diesel fuel it tells me at the dash and removes it from the bottom of the seperator bowl. It is a unit that can be added and looks something like an oil filter with a power wire, ground, and a signal wire. I am pretty sure it comes for both diesel and lube oil versions. The worst suggestion of your lifetime may be the catalyst to the grandest idea of the century, never let suggestions go unsaid nor fail to listen to them. Thanks Randy That sounds like what I need! You wouldn't happen to know who makes it would you? I can't seem to find anything like that. There are percentage of water in oil censors but they have be online with a certain amount of flow. Matt |
