Hello first of all to everyone on the board, and suggestions are appreciated. I need to create a female mold that will be used for moderate volume production of foam cores for a fiberglass end product, and thus must be somewhat durable as the molds need to last through sustained light duty use. I have an original male component that I wish to duplicate in a dense foam such as a 3 or 4 times expansion two part to act as a core to be fiberglassed. Dimensions of the required core component/male are roughly 70cm X 15cm x 10cm for reference on rough mold size.

My current thoughts are of a medium-hard liquid rubber compound, or a liquid polymer, or an epoxy resin. Suggestions and benefits to those ideas will be greatly appreciated. Release agent suggestions or methods for the foam cores will also be appreciated, cheers and thanks!
