We have a pulley attached to a shaft underwater; the shaft is rotating at 200 rpm; it is also delivering 100 NM torque; a timing belt is attached to the pulley emerges through and above the water level to another pulley attached to a shaft; (same size); what will the Rpm and torque of the above water shaft be? Same RPM, sligthly less torque due to friction. |
