I need to find the size of a gap that will support a fluid layer just by the surface tension of the fluid. I have the viscosity of the fluid and there is no pressure differential. The only force is the weight of the fluid which is free to run off the sides of the surface making the layer very thin (negligible ?). Is it possible to keep fluid from migrating with a narrow enough gap? Thank You. |
