| Helical Face Gear and helical 'worm' to go with it. | |||

I am designing an assembly that will incorporate a Helical Face Drive gear and a Helical pinion (similar to worm). I am coming up empty handed when I look for any kind of design guidance or cad models. Does anyone know where I can get some design help? Cad models would be great! This type of gear set is used quite often in a fishing reel. The only other place I've seen them is in helicopters. Thank you in advance. |
