I have a transformer that sits inside a metal enclosure. The walls of the enclosure have louvered openings. I need to determine the temperature on the inside of the enclosure. Any suggestions as to how I calculate what cooling natural convection will provide and if the area of louvered openings is sufficient? |

Hi...welcome to the forum. Do you have the transformers mfr's temp specs and enclosure size? Can you post a model or pic? Thanks |

I have the transformers temp rise above ambient. The enclosure is ~250" x 84". |
