hi guys,i want to design a single scissor lift with two adjusting screw.it has 1450mm stroke, 2250mm*2250mm table dimensions, 50000 newtons load. but i couldnt figure out the forces that affects ot each parts of the system.can you help me? but the link for the scissor lift in this site with a horizontal actuator cant help me.thanks pic of the system below:

Sizing the rods of a pantograph is a little bit trickier. Check out "Stiffness and Stability of Deployable Pantographic Columns" by Igor Raskin (Waterloo University, 1998) and "Nonlinear Analysis of Uniform Pantographic Columns in Compression" by Igor Raskin and John Roorda in the Journal of Engineering Mechanics , Decmeber 1999, p1344-1348. I am in the process of writing of thesis on the use of scissor lifts for theatrical applications with the goal of simplifying/streamlining the math with this application in mind.
