This scenario is on an existing part we have had since before I was with the company. I am not an engineer so I would like yor opinion. it is basically a threaded shaft and a threaded knuckle screwing into each other, both made of S303 stainless steel. Should I demand that the "bolt" part of it be made of a different material?
