For all you great minds out there, in your organization what belongs on the assembly print and what should reside on the traveler?
Us:
We only put mechanical end item information on a print. Some on the stuff as follows:
Torque
Torque pattern (If required)
Special assembly procedures
Views that clearly depict assembly
Exploded Views
Any information that is important to the end item assembly
We do not:
Glue and goos mix procedure
How to solder
How to torque (calibration, how to hold torque wrench etc)
Refer to Travelers
Refer to special internal processes
I know there is alot more!
