I think you need to look at ASME/ANSI B1.8-1988 (R2001).
Here is a link to a chart on the stub acme but I don't know what tolerance it is. /hardware/acme-stub-thread.htm Why are you using the 3G as opposed to a 2G, 4G ot 5G?
