Better in what way? What is the end use of the material?
I have 2 different steel material and got them both tested. Following are the results. However I am not sure which steel is better from both of the comparison. If anyone can help me out to identify it, I will really appreciate it.

Well it is a gear type part used in Harvester. I have the original part that is already worn out so i asked someone to make it so i can replace it. However after the test results came as shown above, the material composition is not same. So i am trying to figure out if sample B is better or worse compared to A in terms of durability, hardness, wear and tear etc
Probably "A" because there is more Nickel and Chromium however elemental composition does not tell the whole story. Hardness, toughness and also quality of manufacture like surface roughness and dimensional accuracy may matter more.
If you doing reverse engineering a full metallurgical analysis of the original material would be undertaken as well as the dimensional variation of an unused component.

Also think about heat treating. Most steel gears are carburized.
