My first guess would be oil vapor. A quick check for oil discharge from a compressor is to put a piece of white paper (with a suitable backing) in front of the discharge for a few minutes and see what collects on the paper.
Hey, Everyone!
I have a Central Pneumatic 21 Gallon air compressor. I bought it a few month ago. Its 2.5-hp motor producing 125 psi of max pressure and 5.8 CFM at 40 psi & 4.7 CFM at 90 psi. This air machine is generally quiet and most powerful of the air compressor market.
But Nowadays I faced with a critical problem. This air machine creates smoke from the starting of the run. Why?
Please advise me to solve it.
Thanks

I will try to il discharge from a compressor.
Thanks
But Can you tell me how much reason is responsible to create smoke? Example
