    Metric gears

    I have driver and driven shaft at c/c 62.11mm I need a 2:1 ratio. Is this possible?

    I should have asked if this was possible with properly meshed metric gears ... and yes, it is certainly is possible.

    So the pitch radius of the pinion will be 1/3 of 62.11 or 20.703. Hence the pitch diameter of the pinion will be 41.4 and the pitch circumference 130. The other gear is twice as big
