If there is a Basic Dimension - then there should be a tolerance somewhere on the engineering drawing associated with the basic dimension... If there is not a tolerance associated then default gauging or tooling tolerances apply..
We have came across Basic Dimension in the drawing. We know there is no tolerance applicable for the Basic Dimension. But we dont know, Is the Basic Dimension to be captured in the dimension report of PPAP, to see what actual sample value is....

As it always have some comment about the tolerances in the drawing if it is not indicated directly next to the basic dimension. For examples, the comments will lead you to another tolerance standards. Hope it is helpful
