Hey everyone! Newb here...looking for some guidance on piezo. I would like to learn more about the technology and how I could potentially employ it in a project I'm working on.

I really need a rundown of all the components required to go from Application of Force ---- to ----> quantifiable data on the computer. i.e. Pressure sensor, analogue converter, microprocessor, etc..If you could provide a brief explanation of what each does as well that would be a huge help. Feel free to add any other info you think might be valuable to someone brand new to the technology...thanks!!
