I have completed 2 out of 3 of my Mech Engg years and now have to choose a field. Plz advise me on which one is better in today's world.

A little brash of you to assume to be a "boss" straight off, but self confidence is always a good thing.
This kind of question has been asked a zillion times and pretty much always answered the same way. Do what excites you. You may be doing it 8-hours a day for 40-years. If it is a pursuit where you hate going home when the bell dings at 5:00pm and can't wait to get into the office the next morning, then that's for you.
If none of the listed pursuits does that for you and you are only driven by hoarding cash, then Engineering may not be a good field for you.
